The SUNY Downstate Midwifery Education Program is still accepting
applications for September 2007 or January 2008 admission to its
Masters Completion Program for midwives. We have a NYS Grant that
will completely reimburse you for all tuition fees and expenses for
books for this program! If you are a midwife with a bachelor's
degree and have always wanted your Masters, or even if you haven't
always wanted it--this is the time to join our program. This benefit
will only be available for the next 2 years!!

The program is usually 12 credits--4 courses. They are completely
online. You only need to be Downstate for one day per semester per
course. You can do the program in 2 or 4 semesters--taking 1 or 2
courses per semester.

College of Health Related Professions- -NOT NURSING. This is a
Masters (MS) in midwifery. Call or email me--see my phone # below--
for more information. The application can be a bit tricky--so please
