| NYSALM's 9th Annual Meeting and Lobby Day |

| Our 2009 Lobby Day was a great success. We had
a record turnout, as Midwives, Student Midwives, and consumers
gathered to attend over 90 meetings with legislators and their
staff. We introduced our bill for the Midwifery Modernization
Act and gave our support for the Reproductive Health Act and
the Breastfeeding Bill of Rights. |
